RATES
Our rates are per room and based on single or double occupancy. Rates vary from peak season to winter season rates.  Rates are subject state and local taxes. Rates and Policies are subject to change.  Two guest maximum per guestroom. Two night minimum stay on weekends during peak season.  

Check-In:  3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
If arriving after 6:00 pm, please notify us in advance so we may accommodate you upon your arrival.  

Check-Out: 11:00 am
A late check-out fee will be charged for those departures after 11:00 am.  

RESERVATIONS
All reservations are made on a guaranteed basis with a valid driver’s license and major credit card.  A deposit of 50% of your package is required when reservations are made.  The remaining balance is due upon your arrival.  Reservations will be confirmed through mail or email.  The credit card holder on file is fully responsible for all room charges and/or damages incurred during your stay.  

CANCELLATIONS
As we are a small business, cancellations have a significant impact on us.  As such, guests must follow the cancellation policy without exception. Any cancellation made more than 10 days prior to your arrival date will be assessed a non-refundable $30.00 service charge per room.  Cancellations made 10 days or less from the designated arrival date are non-fundable.  Refunds are not given for early departures.  No shows will be charged 100% of the reservation.  

YOUR ARRIVAL
Upon your arrival to the Veranda you will greeted with hospitality and warmth.  Hot and cold beverages will be available to anyone with a thirst to quench.  A platter of homemade baked goods will be on hand to satisfy the hunger of any arriving guests.

CHILDREN
Due to the vast array of antiques, many of which are museum quality, and authentic original artwork throughout the Veranda, we cannot accommodate children under the age of 18.  

SMOKING
The Veranda is a non smoking establishment. Smoking is prohibited inside the residence and on any private balcony. Smoking is, however, allowed in the English garden and on the grounds.  

PETS
Although we at the Veranda are true pet lovers we cannot accommodate pets of any kind.   

QUIET HOURS
For the relaxation and comfort of all our guests, we observe quiet hours at the Veranda from 11:00 pm to 8:00 am.

BREAKFAST
Our homemade breakfasts are served daily 8:30 am to 10:00 am.  Coffee and freshly baked muffins are available at 7:30 for early risers.  A sampling of our full breakfasts include two main entrees (stuffed French toast, German puff pancakes, egg soufflés or breakfast casseroles), fresh or smoked breakfast sausage, an assortment of freshly baked muffins, our special recipe Ultimate Baked Maple Granola, fresh fruits (seasonal), yogurt, bagels, homemade breads and coffeecakes, The Veranda’s special blend of coffee, regular and decaf, juices, milk and our own honey and maple butters made with Michigan honey and maple syrup.
